Description
Dreamwalker: Altered Reveries is a story driven, 3d platforming game. Players must navigate and explore the dream to collect memory fragments and help the dreamer overcome a traumatic event.
This game was originally part of an online game jam. The team continued developing the game in order to gain experience releasing a product on a digital platform.
The game is currently in production and is in a pre-alpha state.
My Work
Developed the game pillars
Helped create the primary game loop with an emphasis on goals and storytelling
Wrote Anomaly gameplay features and relation to other game aspects
Wrote the Game Design Document for team reference
Created the team's internal wiki
Drew World map and wrote the pacing for level 1
Blocked out several sections of Level 1 with team assistance
Created testing materials and administered game tests
How It Was Made
The game is being built with the Unreal Engine. Github and Google Drive manage production files and organize work. Affinity Publisher was used to create the Game Design Document.
Images in the GDD were collected from online sources and edited to help with team communication.
