Description
Dreamwalker: Altered Reveries is a story driven, 3d platforming game. Players must navigate and explore the dream to collect memory fragments and help the dreamer overcome a traumatic event.
This game was originally part of an online game jam. The team continued development in order to gain experience releasing a product on a digital platform.
The game is currently in production and is in a pre-alpha state.

My Work
❖ Developed the gameplay pillars, assisting with developing tasks and requirements for the project.
❖ Designed the Level 1 World Map and progression guides enabling level design plans to be developed and approved.
❖ Designed narrative features that tied together gameplay and story elements. Helped determine placement of environmental elements and story events for level designers.
❖ Created various blockouts of zones in level 1 using gameplay assets and in-engine camera tools to create cinematic shots to help guide the player. Reduced map confusion while creating a sense of exploration.
How It Was Made
The game is being built with the Unreal Engine. Github and Google Drive manage production files and organize work. Affinity Publisher was used to create the Game Design Document.
Images in the GDD were collected from online sources and edited to help with team communication.
